Dana Landing

San Diego, CA

All proceeds from the 2026 Bay Bass Classic Tournament will be used for Youth Scholarships in the STAR Tournament

Back for its third year at Dana Landing on May 9th, Bay Bass Classic is one of Southern California’s most exciting catch-and-release fishing events, bringing together nearly 200 anglers for a jam-packed day on the water. Proudly sponsored by Coastal Conservation Association California and Salty Crew, all proceeds from this year’s Bay Bass Classic will award $5,000 Youth scholarships to two lucky Youth Division anglers in the 2026 CCA California STAR Tournament!

Designed for anglers of all ages and skill levels, the Bay Bass Classic is a catch, photo, release tournament that encourages data collection for our local species while anglers battle it out for bragging rights and prizes!  Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a young grom just getting into fishing, this event is all about bringing the stoke to the water and celebrating our shared love for coastal fisheries.
