The CCA Santa Barbara Chapter has taken the crown in our 2020 Batson Rod Contest! By a decent margin, the Santa Barbara rod, designed and built by Santa Barbara Chapter President Tiffany Vague, took first in our voting contest at the Fred Hall Show in Long Beach.
Each of our 6 local chapters were asked to design and build a custom rod, and to complete them by the shows. All of the components and rod blanks were donated by Batson Enterprises and Rainshadow.
We want to thank all of our local chapters for putting in the effort to create magnificent builds. All of the rods will go back to each chapter to use at their annual banquets and will serve as live auction items.
