The CCA San Diego Chapter banquet had a great turnout as we were celebrating “Sustainability Through Partnership.”
Many of our partners, sponsors and members were all in attendance in San Diego at the Hubbs-Seaworld Research Institute (HSWRI). Everybody who was there was offered a tour of the entire HSWRI facility and got to see all of the broodstock fish including, White Sea Bass, California Halibut and Yellowtail.
A handful of our sponsors were also there tabling and showing off new products, trips and what they have to offer coming up for 2019. CCA CAL State Board Member Bill Varney was also at the event selling the brand new 2019 CCA CAL Tide Calendars as well.
The CCA San Diego Chapter volunteers were nothing short of fantastic in setting up a great event at Hubbs Seaworld, and had a huge hand in acquiring great raffle items, entertainment and food. We also had HSWRI CEO Don Kent, CCA National President Pat Murray and CCA CAL Executive Director Wayne Kotow as guest speakers where attendees had the opportunity to learn about what is going on with each of our organizations.
A huge thank you is in order to CCA CAL Board Chairman Bill Shedd, who generously hosted the AFTCO match, Pat Murray from CCA National, Don Kent and the entire team at Hubbs Seaworld, and CCA CAL State Board Members Wendy Tochihara, Harold Davis, and Bill Varney for attending.
