Last month, volunteers from the CCA San Diego Chapter spent some time with the team at Hubbs-Seaworld Research Institute to repair the grow out pens at Two Harbors on Catalina Harbor. The grow out pens were heavily damaged in storm surges a few years ago, and they have been offline ever since.

With the new repairs being done, the facility will be ready to accept over 20,000 cultured juvenile white sea bass to hold and grow before being released and replenishing wild stock numbers off the coast. A big thank you goes out to our team of volunteers, led by San Diego Chapter VP Steve Mote.
