The following statement was made from CCA CAL regarding all upcoming events in March, April and May, and was sent to all current members:
We hope that you are staying healthy and safe during these testing times as all of us are being impacted by the pandemic of COVID-19.
As many expected, all major events in our communities have either been cancelled or postponed for later this year. Our CCA CAL Executive Committee has decided that we will be postponing all of our scheduled events in March, April and May. That includes our Orange County Chapter Casino Night, and our Summer-Kickoff BBQ in Los Angeles. We will be sure to keep you updated as to when those events will be re-scheduled as our team works hard to make those arrangements. Our monthly chapter meetings will be all moved to conference calls, and all remaining events will be postponed for later in the year.
Please know that our CCA CAL staff is continuing to participate in government meetings via their webinars and other methods provided by each agency, and are continuing to work remotely. We remain committed in fighting for your right to fish and will continue to do so during this pandemic.
