The CCA LA Chapter has taken the crown in the very first SoCal Charter Challenge for 2019! The winners were fishing on the Truline out of 22nd Street Landing and were able to score a total of 15 points to edge out the remaining 2 chapters.

Fish Counts

Los Angeles Chapter – Truline: 20 Bonito, 20 Calico Bass, 18 Calico Bass (Released) – 15 points

Orange County Chapter – Fury: 30 Bonito, 16 Yellowtail – 10 Points

San Diego Chapter – Tomahawk: 10 Bluefin, 3 Yellowtail, 1 Skipjack – 10 Points

The Orange County Chapter, who fished on the Fury out of Dana Wharf Sportfishing, managed to score an impressive 10 points. The San Diego Chapter, which fished on the Tomahawk out of Fisherman’s Landing, also scored 10 points.

The SoCal Charter Challenge was our inaugural event for 2019 and was almost completely sold out. We have already begun planning the 2020 SoCal Charter Challenge, and we expect it to be even better!
