The newest chapter of CCA California in the Inland Empire recently held their very first quarterly meeting at Skyland Ale Works in Corona, CA. The chapter invited Captain Dave Hansen from YourSaltwaterGuide.com to come and talk about bluefin tuna and what needs to be done to land them successfully, and the huge crowd was super receptive to Captain Dave.
The packed patio at Skyland was a great sight to see as our IE chapter worked hard to make their very first CCA event a huge success, as over 80 people came out. Of that crowd, the new chapter was able to sign up 30 new members of CCA. This is fantastic motivation as our newest chapter has already begun working on their 2020 chapter banquet, which is happening in September of 2020.
