CCA Event @ Channel Islands Yacht Club

CCA CAL CI Flyer 070417 from KevinOn Sunday July 30, 2017, there will be a “Live in the 805 Surf and Turf” Luncheon and Party at Channel Islands Yacht Club. The purpose of the party is a fund raiser for the Coastal Conservation Association of California, Channel Islands Chapter. There will be Dinning, Live music, Auctions and a Raffle to raise funds for CCA CAL’s newest local chapter.

The Coastal Conservation Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization EIN# 74-1984482. Contributions may be tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, consult with your tax advisor.
The purpose of CCA is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources. The objective of CCA is to conserve, promote, and enhance the present and future availability of those coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public. Two of the stated goals of the California Chapter are: 1) enhance inshore fisheries, 2) enhance inshore habitat (reefing).
Such objectives will be accomplished by: (a) sponsoring and encouraging research relating to marine life and environmental factors influencing its survival; (b) educating the general public on the preservation and conservation of marine life and resources; (c) mobilizing the general public toward the adoption of sound conservation practices conducive to the preservation of marine life and resources; (d) formulating and encouraging the adoption of conservation programs (non-legislative) by federal and state agencies, conservation and environmental organizations, and sport and commercial fishing organizations, and assisting such agencies and organizations in the implementation of such programs. “Conserving the resource and anglers’ access to it.”
This year CCA CAL is kicking off its newest Chapter, Channel Islands covering Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
